Summer Wedding, Wanaka, Central Otago

In the riverside township of Albert Town, Wanaka, Jaz & Sam gathered their closest people for the most relaxed and meaningful backyard wedding. With the Clutha River flowing gently just beyond the garden, their day was full of warmth, connection, and the kind of love that makes you feel instantly at home. It was a true Central Otago summer celebration — barefoot moments, heartfelt vows, homemade touches, and a whole lot of laughter. There’s something incredibly special about weddings held at home; the familiarity of the space, the stories it holds, and the way everyone just settles in and soaks it all up. Jaz & Sam’s day was exactly that — personal, calm, and full of joy. I felt so lucky to be there to document a wedding that was not only beautiful, but so deeply authentic and full of heart.
